Info on the Medway River needed

Hello to all,

I would like to find out what the Medway River is like at this time of year I’ve heard that there is a number of sea fish in the river and I would like to have a go. Has anyone fished the Medway recently, what would I expect at this time of the year and where would be the best place to go on the river. All information as which rig to use ect would be appreciated

hi there
i fish the medway (sun pier/ ship pier) last few weeks its been dead only gettin 1 or 2 if im lucky but about a month ago me and a mate got 19 fish in a night mainly pouting but i have had cod and flatys whitein from the .... im goin there tonight so il let you know if i have any luck ............... dal

hi ..... i went down the sun pier but no joy ..... dont know whats goin on lately aint had a thing .... still if you do fish the medway let me know if you have any joy and where abouts you go ......dal

Hi Dal,

I to went down to the sun pier today but had no joy at all I spoke with a passing angler how said that there is not much happening on the medway at all at the present moment he said to give a month or two :roll: I might head down to deal peir give it a go down there for some Cod

hi pancho ... i mite try down there to night or tommorrow .. i went down there about a week ago and had a couple of bites but still no fish .... give me a shout next time ya goin down there and perhaps we can meet up if ya want .

defo Dal for the next time I go out.

I went down to gillingham peir with my son and cought 1X school bass and a pout ended up a good day
