South Wales Fishing ?

Hi All,
Thinking about going fishing on friday or saturday evening, can anyone recommend somewhere good to go and what bait to use etc. I went to porthcawl on the lower pier 3 times last week and down the knap once and had no luck with any of these which was quite devastating lol happy

Hi ya mate
I went to cardiff foreshore yesterday and had a good i had , 4 whiting all under size , 3 pouting all in size , 2 silver ells in size and a thornback ray about 2lb . I caught the ray on bluey and the rest were on just ragworm . The rig i used was a loop rig or portsmorth rig with size 1 aberdeen .

Hiya mate if you head for cardiff docks you park by the dock gate and the shore is just a little walk . Yeah fish over high water.Dont go mad and put big baits on tho bacause you dont need them

Whats the ground like for snags there is it awfull snaggy or pretty good ?
