I have met TC before today and have the upmost respect for him, he is one hell of a guy and his knowledge is priceless. Today me and George had a meet with Crossy(andy) another top guy with a vast knowledge of boats and the sea. I have the upmost respect for these two guys and i
would like to give a BIG THANKYOU to you both. I really appreciate what you have done for me.  |

think he should spend more time fishing as he seems to have to much spare time.  |

Yes, I vote for that too!
Sadly, on the Lancashire coast the fishing for the Cod has been a none event this Winter. As I've got older I've grown far too fussy. I gain no enjoyment from scratching little Whiting and Dabs in the cold, so haven't bothered trying to get the boat on the water. A 100 mile round trip by road just to access the sea also focuses the efforts.
There is a natural lull in the months of Feb and March until the Spring cycle of fishing picks up with the return of Plaice, Thornback Ray and Bass in April, folllowed by my top fish, Tope in May.
I have some business interests that I intend concentrating on for the next couple of months in an effort to put myself in a position to make the most use of the boat throughout Spring and Summer (if we get one) this year. |
