"STUPID NUMPTYS"

well let me just start by saying what type of f****ing idiots would say that some body has jumped in the sea to cause damage to themselves???

i was fishing in blackpool (the back of the sandcastle) the other week and we were all having a good session, there were 5 rods out, my 2, martins 1 and andys 2, i was there from 21:30 till 03:30, then all of a sudden there was 2 boats 9 police vans 2 coast gaurd 4x4s and the helicopter, some sick person had rung the coast gaurd and said that they had seen somebody jump in the sea "behind the sandcastle" at 01:30, the sea was as flat as a pancake and the south peirs music had been turned of for 2 hours at least, and the place was so quiet, we would of heard something, let alone see it.

the money and time that was wasted, i dred to think about the cost, what about if some one had really needed those services.
then after that the fishing went so so quiet, not one bite, thats not the point though is it!!

So stupid and reckless it makes me mad :evil: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats a tragic waste of everyones time,effort and money.This may
have been a genuine call out,this person may have thought they'd seen someone needing help,but it does seem rather unlikely given the conditions.If this was the case of a crank caller then let's all hope this person doesn't get the help they need the next time they need it.
