Thanks to everyone who turned up what a great day , a good chat in the cafe, then onto the beach and what views one of the best sunsets ive ever seen, the views of the lake district with the snow covered mountains was picture postcard there was hardly a breath of wind a gentle ripple of the sea as it came in and turned and slowly retreated wow it needed seeing to be believed.[img]Image

Sorry couldnt make it to fleetwood...as i dont drive ...Bus travel is a bit of a pain to fleetwood...but nm...
I was at Boating Lake.. left side, Left of steps..( was in camo bottoms and Red Sunridge suit)
Well i Blanked.. i deffo know i wasnt the only one...Inundated by small bites, and I got stripped every 10 -15 mins...wasnt using smaller hooks..no point in damaging small fish just to chuck em back..I'd rather Blank.
Im sooo glad i wasnt the only one to blank...but as usual..everyone buggered off too early...but i was fishing till seven on my own..lol...It was great.
happy

Well lads as mentioned I wasnt up to fishing but at least I turned up to see the lads. Little rabbi (luke) gave it a go for a couple of hours or so but the tide was still making so not much joy there.

Well Frank as stated you couldn't have asked for a better day to round off the season. It wont be too long before you are back with us. Dont forget to pm me the postcode of the hospital and your last name as I'll arrange for some of the lads to visit you. All the best mate. Cheers keith big grin big grin big grin big grin big grin
