I'd say that if the answer to the question,"does it work for you," is yes, then it's right. I've got two reels that I love to bits. I've got a love/hate thing going on with my multiplier at the moment and I've got a fs that I loathe with a vengeance. Since I started this mularky I've come to realise more and more that its about doing the things that work for you. What you do may not work for others and vice versa.

To emphasize what DuncBooth just said- if it works for you sod what other people say- I bought a rod recently- one person said it was crap and too tippy- another reckoned it was no good for beach fishing but conceded it was a good casting rod- a third person said it was a scaffold pole- then I looked back on earlier posts and the person who said it was a crap rod had the same rod themselves and recommended it to someone else as an excellent rod only a few months earlier 8O - I'm not saying who I ended up agreeing with but my advice- which was given to me was "hear all, see all, say nowt then do what the funk you like"
