Well done mate, not bad for the time of year.
That area is best fished around August/September as it gets dark, for the Bass.
A friend of mine had 2 Bass over 8lb there last year.
But good one on the Bass result. |

Good Luck on the fishing on the South Coast, I'm originally from there so I know what the fishing can be like.
All the best,
Regards Micky. |

Hi ric, over the last 30+ yrs, looking in the angling press, depending on where you live, some places will produce decent Bass all year round.
Although at certain times of year, tactics do have to be changed.
On the South Coast of England where I used to do a lot of fishing, I would often use different methods for Bass, depending on venue, season, etc.
Good Luck mate, go grab one of 'em. |

Good luck mate, let us know how you get on in Ireland, it's one place I've always wanted to fish.
Also, give us a report on Penclawd too, especially as I only live a couple of miles down the road from there. |
