Hi all only been fishing for a bit and we have only used lug worm and squid had a go at mackeral but nothing, this is at the kingferry bridge and the strand any tips on what else we can use and how do we go about getting our own bait and keeping it alive  |

I don't know your area Mick, but I would have thought a wander round at low tide and see whats there, cos thats what they'll feed on, good luck and tight lines.

not really my area, but looks like a good flattie spot...maybe harbour rag(maddies) or king rag might work....also mussels are worth a try, very cheap from the fishmonger, just a bit of a faff deshelling, top bait tho.
