you don 't say where you're based or what areas you are looking to fish so difficult to help. Add a little more detail and you will get more response.

Need more information on your location.
Of course if in doubt Chesil Beach it for conger and cod. |

Thats what i was going to suggest up chesil way as i doubt you will see any conger around the hampshire coast-line  |

I heard a few get caught off the stome pier at weymouth. It worth a try.

my mate had a little codling when we went to bristol area (lady bay) but thats all we had this year thanks for ur help |

We did Ladye Bay from Southampton a few years back, and got back the same night.
I actually live just outside Swansea now, and there's a few boy's going down to Ladye Bay on 4th December, will let you know what happens.
From the South coast one of the top venue's has to be Chessil Beach, a lot of scope as it runs for 18 miles, from West Bay to Weymouth.
Great for all sorts of species in summer or winter.
