What a weekend big grin
Met ian in loughborough,on saturday mornoing, set off for the lincs coast around 10.30 am
Arrived at my folks, quick coffee and chat, then off to the beach to meet Luggy(for the bait and to fish with).Tackled up and fishing by 3pm,lots of weed, eventually disappeared about 2 hours before high water.
A bit quiet to start with, then about an hour to high water, the bites and fish started to arrive big grin
I finished with 8 whiting and a decent dab big grin big grin
Ian had a few more whiting and a nice flounder suprise
Packed up about 8.30 as the weed became a problem, once again crying

Got up at 5am sunday,on the beach and fishing by 5.45am suprise
Had 3 whiting and a dab in the first hour, then it eased off until the ebb, when i had another 5 whiting and missed loads of bites!
Packed up about 9 am,full of optimism for the evening session suprise

Back to the beach for 4pm,the wind had turned to a strong northerley,in my opinion unfishable crying crying crying
Had a couple of casts...........to no avail crying

Decided to pack up!

Arrived at the beach on monday morning, about 6am,conditions looked good but the current was strong.Fished til 8.30am,not a single bite crying
Don`t suppose the seal helped though suprise suprise

All in all,a pleasant weekend, with a few fish for good measure
Many thanks to Ian for the company and the lift, also to Luggy for taking time to get our worms big hug big hug

It was also good to meet another site member,we will fish together one day Mike winking

Regards to all,Darren cool cool cool
