I have a tip , im off to my garden shed to spray my fishing gear with thomsons water seal , not only does it make umbrelas and clothes waterproof it brings old looking gear back to life. ps if anyone has tips please leave them for me (i need them)

Hi mate i have tried that on my gear the man at the tackle shop advised me on that when i bought my brolly. Isprayed it on an old tackle box i use and it came up brand new. Im the same as you any tips you get let me know. big grin big grin

Yes it works . but dont do it in the shed through a plant sprayer and not in enclosed spaces .i just did and it aint no good. Air your stuff good and it looks the nuts once again. ready for us to ruin it ....................

Another tip is when you get home spray some WD40 on your reels, I use fixed spools (Daiwa 500ts) and they get a good spray up after every trip out and are looking and working as good as new winking

Don't spray the Thompsons on the lawn, it kills grass a treat. I sprayed my stuff & I had a square of lawn that turned brown after 3 days, 3 months later & it is just growning back.

WOW,
thats the BEST TIP I've ever seen on this forum.

How many tins do you need to kill off 30 sq yards.
What about flowers, does it work on them too???
