I thought about this too, but I think the problem would be that even if it works, your particle baits would get picked up by the tide and just spread over too great a distance. Might probably be better in closed feeder holding onto internal smells around feed area?????

I have used PVA string/bags for see fishing and found them useless. Because of the juices what leek out of the bait the string/bag starts disolve before you cast out. You'll be better off using bait elastic or cotton for securing your bait and using a impact shield.

Interesting concept and worth some thought,i mean in the winter it would be helpful i suppose as the cold water would mean the bag takes longer to dissolve but as to what baits to put in,that would be a problem |

Personally for me a non starter for many reasons but if proven to work with certain baits i can be converted.

Never used them myself but sat here thinking, As 1 post said the bait starts to dissolve the bag to early. An idea I have is to coat the inside of the bag with a smelly fish oil first this would stop the disolving from inside out and add extra smell into the water around your bait. b Tell me im being stupid or give it a go#

You would be far better burying fish heads and guts in a gully that is within casting distance as the tide makes this would have the effect of creating a scent trail over a large area. I think you would perhaps find this more productive.
