Managed to get back out today and fished 5 hours covering the high tide, had 1 pout about a 1lb then a 2.5lb codling and finished it off with a larger than average whiting, Whole Squid wrapped in black lug was the bait, pennell hooklinks on a pully rig again with rotten bottoms cast into the rocks at 30yds the spot, my mate Cat blanked but he missed a couple of good bites. On the walk back a guy had a 3lber on the floor and onother fella had one that size too off the shingle by the pub. So get down thier this weekend and take your rubbish home. big grin

Well done DD,another worthwhile trip..for you anyway,sounds like it's fishing well and too right about the rubbish it's looking a bit of a tip down there lately.

Hi catcalot, google earth mark ln, gravesend,kent,uk and the black post is 2000yards along the river to your right, you can park by the Ship n Lobster pub which is at the end off Mark ln, Walk right past the piers and keep walking until you come to a fence with a gap in it (2000yds) now your at the Black post area.
