Well i bit the bullet and bought a pair of sonik sk3 13ft 4 to 6 oz multiplyer rods,
The problem is i will not get to use them for a few weeks so i might have to go to the local playing fields early before the dog walkers and joggers get in the way.
but one thing i must say the build quality is top draw and the sliding reel seat works very well.
and to top it all the nice people at sonik put a nice hat in the box for free...
I will let you know what i think of them when i can.... |

Hope you get on ok with your Soniks, I have one of the same and find it to be really good in certain areas and ok to average in others. Used it a bit more now so starting to bed in. The main thing is I dont really have any problems at all with it, stick it in my hand, cast, chuck the bait out a reasonable distance and get a decent bite indication. What more could you ask from a rod?
(but, still lacks that real buzz for some reason??? to me)
Would be very interested to know your opinions once you get out and use it for real. Let me know

| Have heard of at least one Sonik busting when a bit of pressure was put on it. Apparently the guy reporting it has decided that they have not made the blank with thick enough carbon fibre. |
