Cought this small eyed ray weighing 3lb 9oz a few weeks back first ever ray. I cort it at Porthcurno on the rock about halfway across the headland on the minak side at about 5am. I used a 2 hook flapper rig with sandeel as bait.
My mate had a 4lb 8oz small eyed on the same mornin.

| nice ray mate but aint too sure by the way you have weighted it looks like the eye's to me , i could be wrong and i hope i am !! |

hi gazza i weighed it by the gill thing behind the eye not sure if this is the correct way to do this or not but the fish went back unharmed.
