Meet and Greet

How about a meet up at Southend or near by, for any of us who are interested.
Maybe do a few hours fishing or just for a chat and a beer.
I think it's a great idea to meet people rather than just chat online.
So come on peeps, someone suggest a day and a time and let's all meet...
Who knows? we could come up with a record breaking team of sea fishermen.
Or at the least, just a bunch of P**s Artists... big grin

i have posted on this site before for people to meet up, and put a face to the users on this site,i tryed to sort out a little friendly comp, with some prizes and the money goes to a charity or somehing,if people put in a donation or something,it would be a good laugh,if not even just a meet up.

Don't mind a meet up. Comp's no good to me as I can't catch fish round here when I'm on my own let alone when I;ve got a bl***y audience! lol

I don't know. The thrill and positivity of catching a 5.5lb cod from the shore just doesn't last for some people (sorry Duncan). If there's a meet up around the Southend coast, or elsewhere for that matter, I'd be happy to join in. Even if lines aren't put in the water, from what I've read so far I think it would be a good crack.

i like the idea of a meet plus the beer is a added bonus
