Atlantic Crossing

Hi all, I'm hoping someone out there can help me. Myself and 3 others are picking up a yacht in the caribean and sailing it accross the atlantic in Feb 07. For entertainment and a source of fresh food we will be attempting to catch as much fish along the way as we can. As none of us are fishermen we are in the dark as to what we need, how to do it and what fish are we likly to come accross on our trip. I'd be very greatfull for any advice or web links, books etc that you think may be handy.
