hi all im having trouble unhooking whiting it seems that the hook is so far down neat there belly i cant get to it any tips would be much appritiated |

I find the easiest is a pair of needle nose pliers or a hook disgorger

If they are takers after you`ve knocked `em on the head you can cut the skin under the lower jaw (like another mouth lower down) and you can get hold of the hook while avoiding those needle like teeth.
Bigger hooks are the only option to cut down on deep hooked undersized fish . |

long nose needle nose plies helps................. bigger bait hooks helps keep the smaller fish off the hook
