Looking at booking a 5 hour trip with this boat, not too adventurous for the first time, only going up the Mersey. Just wondered anyone been with them? As the trip will be all novices, are the skippers normally helpful or do they get brassed off with people like us?

Hi Pyrogirl I think you will find most skippers very helpfull one thing you need to sort out is the bait will he be supplying it or will you need to bring your own and also what sort of toilet facilities he has lol.. good luck this week...Tight Lines and Bendy Rods....Frank

fished on this boat last year with skipper ray nice bloke and helpfull his son works a boat called osprey.might be better sorting your own bait we got him to sort ours and we paid for a lot of worm ok if you have a big freezer and want a years supply lol! we had a good day fishing and the tea came constant.we used frozen black lug,mackrel and squid.
p.s the toilet is a bucket big grin
