any1 try fishing with mussels and whats the best bait for whiting
and wers fishing good at the moment
and has any1 had any good catches

Mussels aare a top bait and most species will take them , don't forget bait elastic. cheers keith  |

As rabbi said use bait elastic for mussels and best with a rag cocktail.
had a good lot of whiting +1lb with squid and lug off ramsgate harbour (doing better with squid strips at the mo)
had a couple of 3lb codling with the pennaled whole squid
lots of doggies on anything!!!!

I find fish baits for the bigger whiting, mackeral, bluey, squid. Fish a night tide and you should be able to pick up 20-30 of them when there in numbers the bait will only be in the water 30 seconds before there biting. |
