any one know of any good spots between felixstowe and lowestoft that have a chance of producing one or two fish? want to have a trip out and take the mrs who has never fished the sea before so a catch would be a bonus for us both. i have never fished this area before so any suggestions would be helpfull.

Tricky one this. From what I'm hearing the Suffolk beaches aren't fishing all that well, with the exception of Pakefield. How about going into Essex and fishing Clacton or Walton Pier. Both are consistantly producing fish and importantly they have toilets so your wife doesn't find herself in an embarassing situation. It's alright for us blokes, we can sneak off and go anywhere, but it's not so easy for women. Maybe that's another reason why not so many women get into angling.

I read elsewhere that Felixstowe is beginning to pick up.
Try the Manor at Felixstowe. There's a car park in Manor Road with toilets right behind the beach.
