[quote="timoz"]hi i do fishing down in selsey do you
Hi timoz. If I were you I'd stay with Selsey for now, neap tides this week/end. The Marina is only worth fishing big tides this time of year, especially for bass with whole squid on a pennel set-up. Bays 1-3 east or west arms is where to do it.
just to let you all know i will be coming to brighton on the 17th - 20th sea fishing around brighton, staying at sheepcote for the WE, looking to meet up with people in the know about the area, tight lines everyone see on the wall or beach?

after doing a bit of internet serching for reveiws of fishing spots, i think i might just stick to the east side or the the beach subjet to how its fishing, ok you hav to pay but it would be geat if i could get on for nowt, if nothinf is happing during the the day, i will be quite mobile

East arm at the Marina has a mussel bed about 20 yds out and goes a fair way out also watch for the Spiders as they cut your line to smitherins. West arm has good fishing all along with some rough ground near the elbow, good bream area there, plenty of spiders there also. Tight lines.
Lots of codling to 3lb not too far out so should be in at night - try east arm as it bends to west. I didn't tell you this, but, out barrier is off car park on right near sea lock so press button for ticket after shops. Allows 1hr, but when you go out, hop out press button for another ticket, et voila... free parking! No need to lug your gear from the Asda end + you avoid all the mackeral bashers - still alot of mackeral about.
Good Luck!

i am part disabled, and can't walk that far, no blue badge holder, shame theres no train or bus service down to the east arm for the fisherman, now thats a hike from the free parking with all your kit, ouch, my poor ankles
