I will be coming from westcliff, am fairly sure i am not doing anything that evening so if i do go can assist with a lift there and back from southend area.

How big is the black Jetty? might have to come down for a bit of fishing before hand!

it takes about ten to fifteen minutes JUST to walk the jetty end to end!!! about 3/4 of a mile long i guess? must be a least four hundred yards in water at all tide times!!!

Dont forget the walk from the pub along the wall to the jetty big grin big grin

havent been up there for a while myself, more recently ive gone fishing on an impulse thing, you know, shooting down the tackle shop for some worms and straight up the sea wall......

suprise wow i just joined this site and would love to fish the black jetty, but can i do it by boat?, i fished Thurruck lAST WEEK LOTS OF SMALL WHITING AND TWO CODLING AND ELLS GALORE...anyone know anything about the Basin off birchinton??/ cheers all, tigt lines
