Well done Sue on your bass. Kopite-col I am like you cant think why people dislike them so much.I belive they sort of hunt in packs and once you catch one you normally catch more and if your are after cod or bass can seem a pain but any sport is better than none .This was caught on my last cast of the night .If this had been a bit bigger although it was over nfsa size I would of taken it home as I know they are not a bad meal.
Sue just for you the fish was caught on a pulley rig with small squid with a piece of bluey inside body then wrapped in elastic. Now tell me your secret on catching your bass. |

ahhhhhhh well..... i just bunged on a dungy lug and a strip of mackeral and it was my first cast of the night and was only in the water for about 2 mins n bang in it came!!
they do say its all about theramones lol... i do not wear deoderant or perfume when we go fishing, i have heard on here that guys that wear deoderants and after shaves may catch less cos the smells are coming off there hands on to the bait and the wee fishies might not like that fragrance!!
haha who knows eh

| If I was to wear aftershave etc to go on a nights fishing my other half would think I was dangling for more than bass or cod. |

I knew a fellow who used to have a bath and get suited and booted to come fishing. No point in wearing deodorant, going to stink of fish anyway so not point trying to mask the smell |
