Last lot I got involved with was carp. A mate of mine had some 15 lb on his reel and it kept busting.

I've been using it for almost 20 years without a problem. But like any line it depends on how old it is and how it's been stored (out of sunlight ).
I've just started using Sakuma night crystal which is very similar in everything except the price, so you may find it a better option.

Ill second everything bucko says , sakuma is my new fav big grin , lower diameter so i upgraded from 15 to 16 lb , great line , a tad cheaper than daiwa as well winking
