In the paper there is news of a tide surge causing flooding all over the uk and the rest of the world. Do you think that this freek high tide will be excellent fishing? |

It will only be a memorable event if the weather conditions are right at the same time(low pressure, high winds from the right direction etc.)
As far as the fishing goes, there will be a lot of water moving and that should carry the scent from your bait far and wide, so yes the fishing should be good. (fingers crossed)

According to several websites, including the enviroment agency, they are expecting a rise of ~2m above nominal tide level, plus, if the weather is bad, surge tide.
I see the IOW is already handing out Sandbags in preparation 8O |

The tidal surges are meant to be big in blackpool and the fylde, north west, the council are building a new sea wall defence from south peir to north peir is being built, there are a load of very low spots and the whole of the prom will be flooded vuirtually, but at the back of the sandcastle waterworld will be cool to fish aswell as from the gyn wall to clevelys, they should all fish well.
Ill will deffonatly be fifhing that tide.
speak soon. jambo 8) |

Let's be extra carefull out there boys n girls!I hope the fishing is supertastic but be that little bit more aware of high water marks and remember that you need to be that little bit further up/back.
Hope it fishes its titties off and good luck..
Be safe peeps. |
