I am thinking of getting myself a daiwa sky caster ,but am finding it rather hard to get any info on this rod . I was wondering if any body out there has one or has tested one and how it performs for casting and fishing and what type of casting method , casting weight should I use. I intend to modify it to a reel down position ,is it worth all the hassle and the cost ?

Not as far as I know, the chap in the shop told me the ones he had were the original ones and there is a new range out a few inches shorter . They are from the continent and have a low butt dia and are bout 14 to 15ft long. I must also add this was in a shop in Mallorca and my Spanish is not to hot .There is loads of info on the net but in spanish thats why I thought I would put it out and see if anyone had any info. |
