Ok looking to totally kit myself out for some fishy fun, ok am on a tight budget, and from what i can see the shakespeare tidewater and salt range fall within my means... so the question is, has anybody got the tidewater rods, these come in a fair bit cheaper than the salt rods.... or would i be wiser ponnying up the extra cash for the salt rods?
and question 2 is, ok i want to fish my local estuary for flatties, dab and the odd bass that passes up this way (im in aberdeen) and a bit of beachcasting on a clean to mixed bottom beach, and the local rock marks with mixed to hard ground, so out of the salt range im thinking either 3 or 4 rods to cover me bum in all eventualities, these being the salt flattied 1 - 3oz 11" for the flatties and odd small bass we get here, the MPV 10" to cover The odd bit of pluggin/lure and float fishing at the rocks or off the breakwaters, and the 13" FS fixed spool beachcaster for shore / rock work for bait fishing, would these 3 in the more expert opinions than my own cover these needs, or would the addition of say the 10 salt spin make sense for finer float/lure work than the MPV? the tidewater range cover these variety/type of rod as well, so the same kind of advice is welcome, i have never came accross a review either in here or other forums and sites on the tidewater rods, but the ones for the salt range seem good, decent rod at a cheap price.
Any help or opinions offered would be great, ta muchly in advance |

There nowt wrong with the tidewater range but I would peronall go for the Salt rang if pennies pemit. Its like the old Rover car it was classed as the poor mans Rolls Royce. Same with Shakespear.
They will do the job and quite adequatly no matter what your choice.Hope thios helps
