Hi 3 of us are off to Hythe tomorrow going to be aiming to get there around 1600 high tide around 1830, got some black lug and going to try and get some squid.
Can anyone recommend any other baits?
What should I be aiming to catch I have seen various reports saying codling started to appear, would appreciate any advice for what rigs to use etc.
Any one around fancy coming down feel free to join us...

im hoping its gonna fish well this afternoon, normally does after a big blow like lastnight. Not exactly sure where we are going to fish yet will decide that in about an hour.
High tide is about 4:30 this afternoon so its about 5:30 tomorrow.
Blacklug, squid, macky and rag should do fine down there. |

Hi Guy's thinking now to try Folkestone, will do Hythe in a couple of weeks when I can hit a good night tide.
Good luck with the trips.
