me and ric fished one of my fav marks in south wales last nite and had 6 doggies and 5 pouting ric had the same all on single hook clipped down rigs ,was talking to a fella who showed me a 8lb bass that he had caught so im going to try the mark again SOON ,enjoyed the nite apart from two wet feet and falling into a hole [it was dark and VERY SLIPPY], ric and i are planning to go again soon,all fish returned and rubbish binned, a good nite cheers ric  |

yeah it did hurt that will teach me to put my head light on in future and yes i felt a plonker  ,will be going again soon for the bass on an all nighter |

John is being kind to me. I only caught 2 woofers and was a little angry at missing bites which could have resulted in double figures just like john had. It was one of those nights where i just had quick bangs or finicky bites. Besides, wondering where the hell john went after hearing a shout of some description made me miss one bite !!!!!!!  .
Seriously though, It was a massive relief that john was ok  ( it was one hell of a trip). Next time i will wear trainers and get both waterlogged from going into rockpools, maybe then i will have the luck as well.
Apart from the wind which was trying to spoil the night a little, it was one hell of a session and will jinx myself further in saying ive never blanked in this place, it has also become one of my favorite places to fish. Thanks john for the great company. It would be a pleasure to join you again.
I was gonna go out again tonight ( sunday) but was too knackered after getting home at 3Am and being woken by my daughter at 6.30AM
