Or you bring the bait and I will pick you up. Can leave London about 10pm and come and pick you up.
As I said getting the bait will be an issue for me.
If interested drop me an email!

All the bait shops in London are already closed.
So I am a bit stuck, but willing to try and get bait

None of the bait shops near me in London were open, so I have no bait.
anyone have any suggestions?
Don't want to travel down from london to waste my time, and not get to fish!

Think its prolly to late now as i doubt your gonna get any bait at this time of night, best to do it another time when you have more time to organize it.
as my mates never got back to me about if they was going or not i will more than likely not be going tonight after all.
Plus the wind has really picked up at the moment prolly best to wait till it calms down.. |

Hi Guys, me and the brother-in-law are just preparing out bits to take, we're probably mad but going to give it a go tonight to see what happens.
Its 00:17 at the moment, got 40 live lugworm but no squid, will be relying on the lug to bring em in, will be fishing until about 9 in the morning if any of you decide to come down, will be trying the traces and lures once the sun rises....
Will let you know tommorrow how we get on.
All the best.

Just got back at 09:00hrs, been fishing since 02:30.
I caught the following:-
2 x Eels
5 x Codlings
Brother in law caught the following:-
1 x Cod (about 18 inches long)
1 x Sea Bass (about 20 inches long)
4 x Codlings
A good night overall, was only 6 of us on the whole stretch!
Was biting all the way through until about 05:30, then the bites started getting further between and the size of the fish started to get smaller.
Ran out of bait in the end by about 08:00hrs so decided to come home, went through 40 black lug.
Now i need some sleep - nighty night! |
