Hi all,
I went camping at Bacton and fished off of the beach there to no avail.
This is nothing unusual because in ten years of fishing there all I've ever caught is a Weever fish and a 6lb+ Bass on Squid.
However, I decided to take my metal detector down to Walcott instead of the new beach rod and boy did I regret it.
There was one solitary fisherman who was catching Weevers, School Bass,
Pollack and Dogfish for fun.
50 yards away a family group were catching the same in greater numbers
and although I found £8.50 for ice cream on the detector I had the raving hump. |
