Hello all, im new to this site but i have now got the hang of it, i'm glad i found this web site as you can learn from other peeps whats going on, ...Anyway i live in felixstowe and i have started fishing for the 1st time in a bout a year...
I went friday night and saturday midday down at the Manor End, i set up just past the languard sea wall on the open beach bit.....
Friday night was great caught a sizeable Flounder , sole and bass...more sole than anything else but not realy worth taking about...Flounder was descent enouth as too were the bass, all in all 1 x Flounder , 5 x sole and 4 bass (2 were keepers) - not bad for 3 and a half hours.....went Saturday and used up left over bait....Big catch within five minutes of getting there, cast real close in and within 40 seconds my rod was going'....i learnt from last year bass can be tricky so i ignored it for 5 mins while i set up and cast out my second rod, by the time i done that i brought in my bite, and what was there - -hehehe, not 1 not 2 but THREE Bass all good keepers, amzing , all two days fishing were fished only with rag presented small on 3 hook size 1 flapper rigs.......might be going down tonight , see if the storm comes first,,,,,,be glad to hear from anyone in felixstowe fishing and there news......

hello all, I didn't do nothing last night(monday night)...neither did me bro!
We fished directly opposite the Manor End car park.....too many crabs, nicked all the bait straight away, be careful when fishing there, theres a nasty Snag about 50-60 yrds out, carefull reeling in all..........not going out again till midday friday - gonna go back up past the sea wall again...if anyones going tonight, help yourself to some bait, i left about 1/4 rag and half box squid in the car park, its tied up on the green fencing next to the angling club.....its there coz i was gonna go back this morning but never got round to it, so all help ya selves!! :-) bye every1,,keep me posted in this topic, let us know whats happnin'....

sharkey, i blanked on thursday night, unless i can count a crab..lol.....i didn't fish at cobbolds point again, i went an the beach at the end of arwella rd, lovely couple of bites as did the two next to me but nothing was brought in ?!!?!?!?..........Cobbalds point is just past the fludgers arms pub, where the promonade ends cobbold point is just over the rocks, be carefull when the tides on the turn, or you;ll get trapped though!!!, i always fish the ebb there...
