Hi,
I am new to this fishing game, and have tried beach fishing a few times and have loved it on both occasions, but i have no idea what i am doing. I am going fishing on Friday near Bridport and i am wondering where and how to fish for mackeral and bass. Willing to fish from the rocks as well. Would appreciate any advise. |

Hi, and welcome, as to fishing near Bridport I assume you mean West Bay, very busy with holiday makers during the day best early in the morning but some one last week caught a 3lb bass from the new rocky sea defences at West Bay. The sea is very stirred up here with the recent storms and all the locals say the mackerel won't come close in while the water is coloured but you could try Burton Bradstock beach, which is o k, but go to the left as the other side is very snaggy . Hope this is of some help and good luck |
