As one charity event draws to a close then another one is about to start.
With the auction about to finish then it leaves me to highlight what seems to be the highlight of the season with many members showing a considerable interest.
As a result I have copied this post on here so as to give it the attention it deserves, as this forum seems to be the first read by members.
As you may have read i am organising a 7 day Fishathon in aid of
Reels-On-Wheels at the end of august all are welcome to participate
anyone willing to put in some time at the event with instruction
casting, baiting, setting up ect helping get those anglers that need it a hand onto the beach . or offers of bait, sposorship, raffle prizes,
there will be a barbeque, all aspects of fishing tuition, raffle, and lots of laughs and maybe even a few fish. I will be looking for a suitable location (bare in mind some participants will be in wheelchairs).
and date as soon as possible i will keep you informed.
Anyone who hasnt heard of the great work of Reels-On-Wheels
please click the link http://www.reels-on-wheels.org/forum/
if you have any ideas or have any questions please get in toutch
with me thanks (Steve)
I HAVE IT ON GOOD AUTHORITY THAT THE VENUE WILL BE HOLYHEAD BREAKWATER |

| Rabbi - If the venue is Holyhead Breakwater I will have a chat with my mate who runs the local tackle shop. If there is anything you need give us a PM mate or if you want the local press to cover it let us know, they owe me a favour. |

Your a Star mate! Press coverage would be absoloutly superb. I do know that members from all over will be attending including me and a few mates.
I am not the one running it. I only suggested the venue because of the easy access for the disabled. I will edit this post with the name of the co-ordinator shortly and then you could put forwasrd your proposals to him direct. Hope this helps. keith

Sounds like with all the prizes and donations this will be a well attended event. I sugest that this is one event not to be missed by anyone interested in competitions or fishing in general. It seems the ideal opertunity to meet members and make new friends and to put a face to all those names you know. keith . |

| Due to an insurence claim I have been selling fishing gear at well below list price. I wondered if I was allowed to sell at the above even with 10% going to Reels on Wheels would the organisers allow it. keith |

Please all members who can attend please do so as I would hate for this event to be poorly attended. The organisers have gone to an awful lot of trouble and expense setting this event up. I myself will be attending and its worth turning up to see the great rabbi just by itself lol.
Autographs come a bit dearer
Seriously thanks lads and lassies for reading this post and good luck to all those who for some reason can't attend. Cheers keith |

| Hi Kieth, do you think you can find out if we would be allowed to put tents up on the grass just before you get onto the breakwater. Frank |
