Sorry to double up on a post but I thought it worth mentioning the following

Some of you lads may not realise that some of the mags are supplied without the brakes fitted.

Be careful when stripping down a mag as they are difficult to put together unless you know the sequence that it is re-assembles.

I only found this out yesterday. All the other 6000 and 7000 series are a doddle.

The other thing is that some reel in the abu range are capeable of taking 4 brakes instead of the useual 2. Hope this helps some of you guys. keith

Sometimes they are in a clear plastic bag in the box when you buy the reel instead of being fitted.

Yes I know but its just that I thought it worth mentioning to those who are new to these reels. The Abu 7000s are able to take 4 brakes instead of the usual 2 that are already fitted. keith
