I'm off to the Gower in search of Bass in early september, staying at the pitton cross campsite.
Can anyone recommend a beach with relatively easy access. I have heard that rohssili is not to bad.
Any advice would be welcomed

Thanks for the info.
I have booked Pitton cross campsite, but I am sure it is not to far to drive, cos i think where I am is the opposite end of the beach.

Do the surfers cause much of a problem?

Any advice on rigs for rohssili would also be a great help

Nothing better than a pint after fishing. Do you know the name of the pub?

Thanks once again.

Just popping out to get some more birds nests on my first multiplier!!

the pub is called the kings head. the surfers aint too bad, most of them will be up the other end of the beach. the end you are staying has an island just off the which has 2 big gulleys off the furtherst point , these produce some good (big) fish, the beach is also a good spot , but i seem to get alot more fish just after sundown. if you fish between the island and the sanddunes you should catcha few fish. off the beach use 2 or 3 hook flappers/paternoster and off the island i like to use 2 rods , one with a 3 hook flapper and a cliped down pennel or just a running ledger. lug worm and razor fish work best down this area. good luck on the fishing, i know you'll love the place, everyone does, leave a message of when you are down there as i might be down there if i got time.
