Ravens Point fishes well all year. Ray, Smooth Hound and Huss around this time of year and best fished over low water. Big Tope have been taken off Ravens on large baits such as whole Pouting or Mackeral. Pollack and Wrasse are taken close-in.

My mate landed a 60lb plus Tope off Raven's in the day. Two months earlier another local angler took two Tope of 48lb and 54lb, unfortunately these two fish were taken away and weighed. What a waste! Least my mate released his record fish but not before taking some photo's, if you go to Winnies Tackle Bar in Holyhead you will see photo's of the unofficial British Record Tope for yourself. Easily 60lb.
