I just wanted to ask if there is a certern brand of hooks that are considered the best hooks to use for sea fishing. I ask this because the hooks I recently bourght seam to go blunt very quick. all advice welcomed and appreciateted.

There are better quality hook manufacturers, I personally use Kamasan mainly. When you say your hooks go blunt quickly :? , I am thinking what ground were you fishing over :?: the smaller hook can only really take so much. Over the years I have always purchased a new packet every trip :!: big grin
Cheers

Hi mate,

I've been using Mustad Ultimate bass recently. They seem to stay sharp longer and are specifically designed for the one species although my mate caught a silver eel on a 3/0! For all other fish, I have to say that I'm using Kamasan too.
