Like you, I'm a coarse angler trying out sea fishing.
I don't know too much about it but I've heard good things about the Dover breakwater and that general region if you can make it that far.
Hope you have fun trying something different.
Best,
Andy |

Hi feckem,
Like you, I'm a disenchanted course angler who's got the bug for a bigger pond. I live in Slough (Bucks/Berks) and like you have a good old journey for a fish.
Being fairly new to this branch, I've played safe and found Brighton marina a safe bet, always catch/get bites, no need to cast miles, other people around to pester for help, tackle shop on site, about 1hr 30mins down the M23, website that gives weekly catch reports and tide times. I straying further afield now, but it was a good place to build a bit of confidence and get my head round a very different set up.
Matt. |
