going to fish porthcawl pier tonight. never fished there before any advice or newsof whats been caught recently.  |

Couple of codling, thornies and doggies. Millions of doggies mate. Take big hooks. Fish the tide low and you may get some dab too. Rag and macky best there mate on a pennel. |

just back from porthcawl pier, fished the lighthouse from 11.00 til 6.00 . for first 2 hours we didnt get a bite but from there in we were catching dogfish constantly. between me and my mate we caught atleast 20, few other boys on pier also catching doggies all night, almost one per cast. |
