|
|
I was one of nine lucky anglers to enjoy a days fishing aboard the fantastic " Predator" out of grimsby , we boarded 9am and headed 40+ miles out to fish wrecks near gas rigs then worked our way back before dropping anchor and fishing the flood water near the anchorages for a couple of hours finally returning to grimsby around 8.45pm .
After a good start on the first wreck with a 7 - 8lb cod coming aboard ,2 or 3 smaller cod and numerous pouting and whiting the fish became hard to tempt , they where down there but not playing , skipper craig and his crewman where a delight to spend the day with , extremely knowledgeable , proffessional and welcoming .
With all anglers catching fish and everyone aboard having such a good day the booking of our next trip has already begun . So many thanks to Chrissie , Craig and crewman Ian for a great day . |

| all we need to do is let each other know whats happening on and off the coast , we all spend a few pennies following our pursuit of good fishing , so lets make it a part of the days fishing to let the other lads (or lasses ) know how we've done . who knows , we may be fishing next peg next weekend , look forward to see'ing you . tight lines...... well done mate

i never knew there were any charter boats going out of grimsby
been there loads of times as my ex wife comes from there so could have gone fishing instead of round her mothers
mother in law wouldn't have liked it but whatever i did she hated so no love lost there |

| To my knowledge there are 4 boats which go out from grimsby, but can only remember the names of 2 which are PREDATOR and SV IMPULSIVE if it still does charter sessions. IMPULSIVE is a 60ft ex trawler which goes out for upto 48 hour trips. |

We have a few charter boats out of GY , but i can only speak from experience . Predator is very fast , very professional and very experienced , if you wanna catch fish craig wiil do his utmost to get you over the fish and help to keep those lines tight .
Anyway going down to moggs eye / chapel point weekend after next ( would be sooner but self employed and times money) so any tips , help advice would not go a miss , been 4 times this year already , with son who has asbergers / adhd and a couple of other problems and we've not had a touch . but hey , thats fishing .
cheers Ant |
