|
|
Hi All, going down for 5 days fishing between Kimmeridge and Bournemouth next weekend, has anyone fished Durlston Bay for bass before? It looks great on Google Earth and that stretch of coastline seems fairly prolific but want to make best use of the early mornings and wondered if this was worth a cast or twenty? Any help much appreciated.
Hoping to finally have something to report from this years efforts, will let you know how we get on. Can't wait to get a decent bend in the rods! |

if you have not read Mike Ladle's site then you should before you go. He based much of what is written on the coast from Swanage westwards along the Purbecks.... all you need to know on there, there are details of a couple of locations on my blog, click on www below

Hi TNH, I have read the whole site over the lat few weeks and found it really useful, I cant find many references to where he fishes outside of Kimmeridge, Chapman's Pool and having been to that area before some of the pictures don't look like any of the areas that i fished?! Just trying to maximise my chances so if you have any more info on that area i would be greatful.
Have checked your blog and looked over the all of these locations there as well but keen to see how it is fishing at the moment if anyone knows and can share. |

| The Purbecks have been quiet, with just a few small Bass coming out. Hopfully next weekend things may pick up as the tides build. The netters have been busy though with their new, faster boat. |
