| im goin to hav a go at spinning for mackerel any advice on how to set up a rod with a spinner? |

| Id use feathers instead m8. Set up your rod and reel (make sure you have enoughf shock leader attached to your mainline). Pull your line thru the eye's and then tie a snap swivel to the end of your shockleader. Then clip the swivel on the set of feathers to the snap swivel and then connect your weight to the snap swivel on the feathrs and your ready to go. Cast away and reel in repeatedly. I prefer to drag the rod back and reel in the slack. |

i had a shot on a beach in scotland the beach was awful it was just so weedy every cast all i got was weed
