Hi all,
have recently moved into the Newcastle area and was thinking of fishing the pier at South Shields or the rocks at Tynemouth and Cullercoats. Have little experience of sea fishing, I like the idea of using light tackle so any advice on lure fishing or float fishing for the spring would be much appreciated. |

Thanks for the welcome messages guys.
Thinking of fishing the Tyne on Friday, have heard it's mainly flatties. Marks around the city centre, Jarrow and Hebburn have been suggested to me. Does anyone else fish the Tyne? |

all small stuff being taken from the tyne,if ya gonna fish beaches, probs whitley bay beach would be ya best bet at the minute mate,or jackies beach (whitburn/seaburn)
rock edges if ya want to fish light, try float fishing or spinning |
