If you can get it, live lug is better than frozen because live worms tend to wiggle more than the frozen ones.
Don't dismiss the frozen lug as it has proved very good for me in providing some very nice cod.

Sometimes old smelly lug has outfished live, this is not the norm but It happened to me on Blue Mink out of Fleetwood. |
