hey guys, is there anybody here who uses a penn powerstix 15' and if so what is their opinion of it? I was looking a possibly getting a shakespeare k2 but I've heard that the liners are pretty poor. Of course if it wasnt for the wife i'd treat myself to a century BB! |

I'm sure i've replied to this question before????
I use PENN POWERSTICK SURF RODS which are very similar, apart from being 2 sections not 3 like the powerstix. the only problem i had was, they have an adjustable reel seat and the reels i had at the time wouldn't fit so had to buy different reels because if i had tampered with the reel seats i would have lost my guarantee. Apart from that i have had no problems with my rods. So if you get a POWERSTIX i'd take one of your reels with you, to see if it will fit in the reel seat before buying one. |
