Yep the lads right, I sometimes make my main trace in 40lb amnisia black and my hook lengths in 20lb red. Don't go over 4oz weight even if your using shockleader as the trace becomes you weakest link. The reason I use a lot of amnisia is that you can coil it up into a self sealing bag and it dont come out like a coiled spring when you come to use it. Tight lines. |

Sound. I used to use the black stuff myself but didnt buy it in a tackle shop. I found a big spool of it on the beach once and never knew what it was called. Is the red stuff called gum somthing ? Cheers |
