I would advise you contact Century for the spacings- a friend is currently building a Tip Tornado Sport from blank and he said Century were very helpful providing the spacing information.

I havent got a named contact but the tel number is 0191 415 5962 or E-mail- info@century.gb.com.

I think you'd be better off phoning them first to be honest- they do make lots of carbon products other than fishing rods so I'd ask right from the outset if you could speak to someone about the rod- if you dont get any joy come back to me as i know of one or two other blokes who you might be able to contact to get the spacings.

Hi,
Some time back I was building up a rod and I found that the Conoflex site had a big list of the spacing they use on their assorted rods.
I know you are working on a Century but looking at the site there should be a decent match somewhere between one of theirs and yours which could be used as guidance.

The ring spacings are exactly the same for down the butt as with a normal reel position, just use the standard multiplier ring spacings.

As far as I know the spacings should be exactly the same for the new rings as they were for the old ones. I have always worked on this theory and I have never had a rod returned.
