Whatcha phildalt, not a great deal with all these easterly winds. Theres a chance of some nice plaice at sandwhich bay, a few small bass showing at reculver after dark and plenty of dabs about.

On a n/easterly try infront of the pilot at dungy for dabs, normally you can go home with a bag full, use 3 hook paternosters, size 2 hooks and some smelly black lug.

Roll on the warmer months!!!

Laters jim.

Hi Phil,

Its the same all over the country at this time of year from the beaches and as dunjy said the weather isn't helping the matter any either.
Its the same every year at this time so i find its a good chance to have a good clean of the gear and make a few rigs up for the season.

Me and Sean have tried twice in the last week in our neck of the woods - once for plaice and the second time for bass. Absolute zilch and so dam cold in these easterlies we both went home frozen stiff. Sean as ever is dead keen but he is not getting me down the beach again until the weather warms up a tad. Let's not forget that we probably only have to wait another 2/3 weeks and plaice, bream and bass will start to turn up. So I agree with Raymondo and will spend some time fixing up a few rigs and planning where our first couple of boat trips will go.
